It's important to choose the right wedding venue, after all it occupies a day that you want to remember for the rest of your life. We visited several places in Leeds and here are the five we liked the most. They are in no particular order, we just feel that each one has its own little character and wedding charm.
Mercure Leeds appreciate that each wedding is special, therefore, they'll create individualised wedding packages to make sure every couples important wedding event genuinely meets all their expectations. You can arrive stylishly to a red carpet like a celebrity wedding couple and be greeted by a designated wedding host immediately upon arrival. You will be made to feel so special, the host is professionally trained and knows how to take care of all your individual needs. Once you've had your ceremony, you and all your guests can enjoy canapes and drinks at their lavender wedding garden prior to having breakfast at their gorgeous Ballroom, which has a beautifully decorated staircase and balcony as well as an exclusive entrance. 2. The Leeds Club
The Leeds Club is an exclusive venue that is guaranteed to impress the entire wedding party because of its charm and classiness. It is located in a huge Victorian environment with a modern twist and has several well-maintained rooms to choose from depending on the size of your event. At the moment, they have several wedding packages on offer that will meet the needs of all budget types. Not only can you hire their venue but the Leeds Club are also happy to organise the full event at a discounted rate, which means you can just make your demands and enjoy your significant occasion. You can book this venue through their website.
This stunning venue offers a sophisticated atmosphere making it the right choice for those looking to create a romantic and stylish wedding. Woodlands have a strict 'one wedding only' policy at any given time because they believe in pampering and giving undivided attention to each couple and their guests. We highly recommend this place to you if you plan to invite between 30 to 200 hundreds guests; you'll all be able to enjoy the entire place to yourselves to include their stunning marquee, terrace and garden area and made to feel like celebrities in a none-superficial manner. Get in touch with one of their Wedding Coordinators soon because they get booked up quickly.
4. Leeds Castle
Rising majestically from the still waters of its moat, surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and gardens, Leeds Castle is known as one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area. And rightly so, with gorgeous views overlooking the water, the Maiden's Tower, peacefully awaits wedding couples to enjoy its luxury and serenity within its own private gardens. The Fairfax Hall can accommodate larger weddings without compromising on supreme quality. You will feel important and special if you decide to get married at Leeds Castle, all couples who got married in this striking venue will vouch for that. Our advice is to get in touch with their wedding planning team and arrange to visit this desirable place yourself. We believe you will fall in love with it.
5. The Leeds Town Hall
This Grade 1 listed venue is located in one of Leeds premium spots and offers an outstanding environment for any wedding ceremony. Their Brodrick Suite is chicly decorated with modern furnishings; it has a cosy interviewing lounge and elegant waiting area which gives the suite that complete finish. It can only accommodate a maximum of 40 guests so if you want something more grand that choose the impressive Albert Room. Here you can have a maximum of 100 guests. We really like this venue, although we need to point out that it's not ideal if you're looking for exclusivity. It's a popular location and a multi-purpose building, therefore, you might end up sharing it with other people. The other drawback, the Leeds Town Hall doesn't offer any parking. If these two don't bother you, then go for it, it has a charming wedding ambience when you step in. Contact the Leeds City Council if you're keen to book this venue.
